From January 29th through the 31st, Charleston’s newly renovated Gaillard Center was host to one of the Lowcountry’s most popular events, the Charleston Home + Design Magazine Home Show. For this Winter’s show, scores of local vendors came to showcase the latest in appliances, architecture, landscaping and much, much more! If you had a hankering to improve your homestead, this show was for you. Many in attendance, including us, left with more design inspiration and ideas than we came with.
So, if you weren’t able to pop in, here’s a quick recap…in pictures.
Imagine walking into a venue and being presented with the vantage point below? Absolutely breathtaking! The newly renovated Gaillard Center was the perfect place for January’s Home Show!
Glasseco Surfaces displayed their awesome, custom poured counter top options. Made from recycled glass, these low maintenance, high performance surface tops are, both, eco friendly and gorgeous.
Rick’s Lighting Lighting Designer, Maggie Berry walked us through a variety of outdoor lighting options for your home. These lanterns are a modern take (completely flame free) on the classic gas light. Be sure to check them out!
Moluf’s Kitchen and Bath Supply are a local favorite here in Charleston. Check out a few of their beautiful bathroom fixtures.
Plugs Appliances is the Lowcountry’s largest appliance retailer. After chatting with Sales Consultant, Chuck Smith, we learned that new Samsung home appliance tech is on its way to the West Ashley location’s salesfloor…fresh off the heels of CES. (Check out our CES 2016 Review from a previous blog post)
Need a solution for more storage in your garage? How about Monkey Bars? These seriously strong shelving units can withstand the heaviest of items. From bikes to Christmas decorations, these guys can handle whatever you can throw at them…or hang on them!
Just in time for the Big Game, NextGen Technologies has inspired us to “Go Big!” reach out to Michael “Mack” McIntosh at their Summerville location and learn more about NextGen’s home automation, home theater and security services! They certainly impressed us.
